Job Description

Responsible for managing B2C subscription accounting for international entities, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, reconciliation of payment gateway transactions, compliance with tax requirements, and timely reporting to management.

Key Responsibilities :
• Manage accounting of B2C subscription invoices of Jiohotstar of international entities.
• Ensure revenue completeness and accurate month-on-month recognition as per revenue schedules.
• Reconcile Invoice Register with Payment Gateway Settlement Reports to ensure completeness of B2C invoice and refund accounting.
• Apply receipts from payment gateways against outstanding invoices in a timely manner.
• Perform daily monitoring of subscription invoice counts across all locations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile payment gateway settlement reports with bank statements and investigate/report discrepancies, if any.
• Validate payment gateway charges through three-way reconciliation (Invoice Register, Settlement Report, and Agreement terms).
• Prepare and submit monthly tax reports in prescribed formats for all locations to support timely tax filings.
• Prepare and circulate monthly P&L and Balance Sheet schedules to management.
• Coordinate with payment gateway teams to resolve reconciliation and operational queries.

Preferred Education and Experience :
• Postgraduate/Graduate in Finance Domain
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles
• Experience in reconciliation and payment gateway accounting
• Good understanding of indirect tax compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in ERP system SAP and MS Excel
