About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Events Manager to lead the delivery of complex, international events at scale.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong operational control, supplier expertise, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously — from early planning through to on-site delivery and post-event evaluation.
The role is based in Malta and involves frequent international travel.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end event delivery, from initial planning and concept development through to on-site execution and post-event analysis
Define resources, budgets, timelines, and staffing structures across events
Collaborate with Marketing and PR teams to support pre-event campaigns and positioning
Conduct post-event analysis and strategic reviews to drive continuous improvement
Support Sales teams with event concepts and product development where required
Source, negotiate, and manage hotel contracts for staff, attendees, speakers, and VIPs
Oversee large-scale accommodation planning, including room blocks and tailored VIP requirements
Build and maintain strong hotel partnerships while ensuring cost efficiency and high service standards
Oversee transport and attendee logistics, including airport transfers and VIP services
Manage suppliers across catering, hospitality, and event logistics
Ensure seamless guest movement across venues, hotels, and event locations
Develop and manage a programme of side events, including networking mixers, charity initiatives, and curated experiences
Collaborate with partners, sponsors, and local stakeholders to deliver high-quality activations
Work with Marketing and PR to maximise visibility and engagement
Plan and execute large-scale official parties and awards ceremonies
Source and manage entertainment, venues, and production elements
Oversee all technical aspects including staging, AV, lighting, and overall guest experience
Ensure delivery aligns with premium brand and production standards
Conceptualise event themes and source entertainment that enhances the overall experience
Negotiate competitive supplier agreements while maintaining quality
Organise VIP retreats alongside key events, including venues, accommodation, and bespoke experiences
Deliver high-level networking environments that strengthen commercial relationships
Manage relationships with high-profile stakeholders and VIPs
Coordinate personalised schedules and provide a high-touch experience
Support PR efforts to maximise visibility of key individuals
Lead and support the events team, ensuring strong collaboration across departments
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams
Manage event budgets across all areas including logistics, accommodation, and production
Negotiate supplier contracts and monitor spend to ensure cost control
Deliver high-quality outcomes without compromising commercial performance
Support additional ad hoc tasks as required
