Job Description

Octal Philippines Inc. is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior ETL Developer to join our expanding data team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing efficient ETL processes that facilitate the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources into our data warehouse. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data quality and availability for business intelligence and reporting purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ETL processes using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into ETL solutions.
• Optimize ETL workflows for performance, accuracy, and data quality.
• Perform data profiling and validation to ensure data integrity.
• Implement best practices for data governance, standards, and security.
• Monitor and manage ETL jobs, ensuring timely execution and resolution of issues.
• Create technical documentation for ETL processes and data mappings.
• Mentor and train junior team members in ETL best practices.

Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in data engineering and development.
• Core Expertise: Strong technical proficiency in ETL development, data integration, and functional system analysis using Microsoft Visual Studio (SSIS), MS SQL SSIS, MS SQL (TSQL)
• Skillset: Solid track record of building, testing, and optimizing data pipelines and identifying technical fixes through detailed data analysis.
