Job Description

• Analyses and revises information and data initiatives including database structure, ETL processes, and external data interfaces.
• Design and Development of ETL processes based on the requirements.
• Excellent experience in using Informatica PowerCenter and Microsoft SSIS ETL tools.
• Develop Program Units (such as Stored Procedures, Packages) required for the ETL process.
• Exceptional knowledge of using Microsoft Office products especially Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint.
• Interact with the other departments to understand and identify data needs and requirements and work with other members of the IT organization to deliver ETL solution to address those needs.
• Provide third-level support for production Data Integration environment.
• Monitor performance of all Data Integration systems; provide ongoing performance tuning, review logs, clean temp files and all other administrative issues required to ensure applications and databases are performing efficiently.
• Must possess excellent organizational skills, be detail oriented with an ability to meet critical deadlines.
• Excellent communication (oral/written) skills with respect to team members, peers, and staff at all levels of the organization.
• Has ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science or equivalent (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
• High level interpersonal skills and communication skills both written and oral.
• A minimum of 4 years hands-on experience working with database and ETL technologies and architectures; including both logical and physical designs, data mart creation, ETL tools, loaders and development and reporting tools is preferable. This experience should include influencing global data architecture directions and defining major data architecture related technology standards.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience with implementation of ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and Microsoft SSIS tools.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience writing Oracle & SQL Server stored procedures and packages.
• A minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in various data definition and modelling projects and demonstrated capabilities in carrying best practices and common objects/components to other projects is required.
• Strong expertise in Data Integration and ETL methodologies and concepts.
• Strong expertise in Informatica and Microsoft SSIS ETL tools.
• Strong expertise in database design and database development.
• Experience in real time/near real time data integration.
• Experience with development processes and production release management; application and database tuning and interdependencies on operating system configuration is highly desired.
• Must possess excellent organizational skills, be detail oriented with an ability to meet critical deadlines.
• Exceptional knowledge of using Microsoft Office products especially Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint.
