Senior Estimating Coordinator

We are currently seeking an experienced  Senior Estimating Coordinator for our Copiague, NY location. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assign specific trades to each estimating coordinator to obtain and level pricing.

Will obtain and level pricing on more technical trades not assigned to estimating coordinators.

Review all plans and specifications for RFIs and creation of scope sheets.

Review and level all proposals across all trades.

Identify potential Value Engineering options/ Specification substitutions.

Oversee leveling of all trades before presenting to management.

Confirm Value engineering options.

Approve all scopes as written by preconstruction coordinator for subcontractor agreements.

Assist with T&M contract related work at the direction of Matt and Dan; take field notes and measurements for the purpose of compiling an estimate.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, however, 5+ years of Architectural and/or construction experience will be considered.

Skill Requirements:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Proficient in Microsoft Project Schedule

Proficient in Procore

Prior Experience:

Experience in reviewing construction documents such as drawings and specifications

5+ years of quantity take-off experience

3-5 years in a managerial role
