Senior Engineering Professional

Hire Resolve is partnering with established and growing organisations across the Netherlands to recruit experienced mid-senior to senior-level engineering professionals. These opportunities are ideal for engineers with strong technical expertise, proven project delivery experience, and the ability to operate effectively within regulated, innovation-driven environments.

This role is designed to encapsulate multiple engineering disciplines and may suit professionals with backgrounds in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Process, Manufacturing, or Project Engineering, across sectors such as manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, utilities, logistics, and high-tech industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to engineering projects from concept, design, and development through to implementation and handover
• Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex technical and operational challenges
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including project managers, operations, consultants, and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with Dutch regulations, European standards, and health & safety requirements
• Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and reliability
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior engineers and technical staff
• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management activities
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and regulatory authorities as required

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, or a related discipline)
• 7–15+ years of relevant engineering experience, depending on discipline and role scope
• Proven experience working on complex engineering projects within industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, or technology environments
• Strong technical knowledge within your engineering discipline
• Familiarity with Dutch legislation, European standards (EN), and industry regulations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch language skills are advantageous)
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
• Chartered or professionally registered engineer status is advantageous (role-dependent)
• Proficiency with relevant engineering software, tools, and systems
