We are seeking a talented experienced Senior Engineering Manager for our Streaming team in Berlin, as we scale the team for the next phase of growth.

AS A SENIOR ENGINEERING MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

- Lead and drive projects from idea formulation to design and implementation.

- Drive great partnership with the product management team.

- Set team strategy and be accountable for team plans and deliverables.

- Grow and build a strong, healthy and diverse team through hiring, mentoring and coaching.

- Collaborate with other engineering and cross functional teams.

- Provide strong technical leadership to the team and partner teams.

- Enable the data science organization, business groups, engineering teams to build comprehensive analytics quickly and effectively.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

- 10+ years hands-on software development experience, including experience working with large-scale cloud data platforms

- 5+ years of engineering management experience.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on delivering impactful results.

- Prior experience driving company initiatives and growth of the business in collaboration with product managers, marketing, sales, etc.

- A background in SQL engines, especially in SQL compilation and/or streaming systems.

- Demonstrated track record of managing operational excellence to ensure service availability, reliability and scalable performance..

- Proven track record of recruiting, hiring, leading and growing technical teams.

- BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.
