As the Senior Water Treatment Engineer, you will oversee the operation and maintenance of the site’s water treatment systems, ensuring full compliance with GMP, regulatory standards, and internal quality requirements. You will be responsible for continuously monitoring the performance of purified water, WFI, and related utility systems that support manufacturing and packaging operations. This includes identifying and reporting any deviations, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring system reliability to support uninterrupted production. You will be located in our site in Al Obour City, and reporting to the Utilities and Projects Manager.
Your responsibilities:
Managing purified water treatment stations to meet GMP, pharmacopeia, and EHS standards.
Overseeing clean utilities equipment and networks with preventive maintenance to guarantee continuous supply.
Supporting and troubleshooting small, purified water units for labs and lab equipment.
Preparing annual procurement plans for chemicals, spare parts, and consumables to prevent breakdowns.
Developing preventive maintenance schedules to ensure uninterrupted production and compliance with manufacturing requirements.
Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical or Mechanical.
Minimum 6 years’ experience and in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Strong sense of urgency and accountability.
Advanced communication, problem-solving, and planning skills.
Excellent in English language
