Client Company: Design Company that Blends Technology, Creativity & Engineering

Location: TRIVANDRUM, KL / CHENNAI, TN / BANGALORE, KA

Description: The MBD lead will be responsible for providing technical expertise and product-related guidance to clients in the signal processing and communications and hardware design domains

Responsibilities:
· Perform plant modelling and controller development to prove-out new vehicle features and electronic functions
· Carry out mathematical modelling of physical systems and develop models with Plug and Play architecture
· Perform Rapid Control Prototyping (RCP) and model-based MIL/SIL/PIL/HIL validations for system functionality
· Implement automated testing tools to validate models through simulation and model checking
· Perform expert level review, resolve and debug the model design issues, design challenges and ensure conformance of the model standards (AUTOSAR, ISO26262, MISRA) and guidelines
· Generate automatic production code using EC/RTW/Target-link optimized for the product architecture
· Investigate requirements and design solutions, generate value-addition by leveraging model-based-design in Automotive Technology Development Process

Qualifications:
The incumbent must possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership qualities with aptitude for research and innovation and be energetic with passion for solving multidisciplinary challenging problems.

1. B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / MCA with first class and relevant experience in model based design and development
2. Strong knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink based plant model development, algorithm and controller design and verification
3. Strong experience in product development using MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder/RTW and associated control system toolboxes, IBM, Rhapsody Doors/ ClearCase, Reactis, CANalyser, CANoe and dSPACE TargetLink etc
4. Strong fundamentals in any of the following Automotive Functional Design, (Powertrain, Steering Control or Body Control Modules)
5. Experience working in CAN/LIN/FlexRay Protocols, Vehicle Architecture and
Diagnostics
6. Knowledge of MIL, PIL and SIL and automated test environment development
7. Knowledge of ISO26262, AUTOSAR, MISRA and MAAB Modelling guidelines

· Experience with C++ and scripting languages Python/Perl
· Certification from MathWorks, NI or dSPACE will be an added advantage
