Join our Global Expertise Center Infrastructure and help drive the success of large-scale infrastructure projects around the world. As a Senior Engineer / Project Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping tailored heavy shoring solutions for infrastructure construction—bringing technical expertise, creativity, and customer focus to every phase of the project lifecycle. 

What you’ll do: 

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to our global customers, identifying needs and delivering smart, customized solutions. 

• Lead the technical design process from tendering to project execution, ensuring seamless coordination and high-quality outcomes. 

• Develop innovative heavy shoring & formwork concepts for international projects, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders. 

• Provide expert guidance on equipment usage, jobsite support, and technical troubleshooting. 

• Visit project sites as needed to ensure alignment and excellence in execution. 

Your future path: 

This role offers exciting development opportunities in areas such as: 

• Business Development – Engage in acquisition of large-scale projects, commercial strategy, and risk management. 

• Engineering trainer – Train newcomers on the heavy shoring topic on demand, both in HQ and in our regions globally 

• A degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (HTL, FH, or University level). 

• 5 years of experience in formwork or steel structure design, ideally in large infrastructure projects. 

• Strong 3D CAD skills (Revit, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar). 

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, international team. 

• Excellent English communication skills (any other language is a plus). 

• Willingness to travel and support projects abroad after onboarding.

A salary in line with the market is offered for this position, which is based on the specific qualification and adequate professional experience.

We are required by law to state a minimum salary. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is EUR 46,290.44 according to the collective agreement (woodworking industry) on full-time basis 38.5 hours/week - use group as of IV.
