We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer - ELV (Buildings Design) to join our dynamic engineering team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for commercial, residential, and mixed-use building projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, analytical mindset, and proven expertise in delivering complex ELV solutions that comply with local and international building standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop comprehensive ELV system specifications, including fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, and audio-visual systems for building projects
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and system documentation using AutoCAD, BIM software, and industry-standard design tools
• Conduct system analysis and feasibility studies to optimize ELV infrastructure performance and cost-effectiveness
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of ELV systems within overall building design
• Review and ensure compliance with UAE building codes, ADNOC standards, ESTIDAMA requirements, and international electrical safety regulations
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation while maintaining quality standards and organizational efficiency
• Prepare technical specifications, bills of materials, and tender documentation for ELV system procurement
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address technical challenges and implement effective solutions

• 8+ years of professional experience in ELV systems design and engineering
• 5+ years of experience in buildings design and project delivery
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Revizto), and ELV design tools
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, security systems, CCTV, access control, and integrated building systems
• Demonstrated expertise in MEP coordination and system integration
• Excellent technical documentation and report writing skills
• Project management and team leadership experience
• Proficiency in analyzing building codes and regulatory requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Systems Engineering, or related discipline
