Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and outstanding Senior Embedded SW Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The purpose of this role is the development and implementation of an GNSS receiver and related application SW in the software defined receiver system and in the PC environment. The Engineer designs and implements embedded GNSS receivers from theory to practical use. In addition, the Engineer has an experience with development of instrumentation control using various protocols (i.e. SPI, GPIB, VISA, RS422, etc.) and basic GUI development for data post-processing and/or display to the user.
Job responsibilities:
Research, design and development for cutting edge GNSS embedded receiver firmware implementation using various FPGA platforms. Optimize the embedded GNSS receiver performance for various applications while integrating various extremal sensors
Optimize low level GNSS acquisition engine tasks inside the FPGA. Ability to verify performance using various GNSS simulators and live signals
Work and collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit, methodology, and tools
Work collaboratively with professional developers, system architects and product managers to deliver high quality technical solutions
Requirements:
At least Master’s degree or equivalent in computer engineering or related field
7+ years’ experience in Embedded GNSS receiver SW development in Embedded FPGA FW/SW development and implementation development
Hands-on experience with RTOS, C/C++/C#, Python in Embedded SW development
Deep understanding in GNSS system testing and integration experience would be beneficial
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills
Other requirements:
Team player experienced in working in agile environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure
