Job Description
Your role:
• Develop and maintain embedded operating system components based on Zephyr for robotic and control platforms
• Implement and integrate board support packages and drivers for NXP i.MX hardware
• Support hardware bring-up, system integration, and performance optimization on target devices
• Debug and resolve system-level issues across hardware and software interfaces
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure reliable and maintainable embedded solutions
Your experience and qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or comparable qualification
• 2+ years of professional experience in embedded software development and working with real-time and embedded operating systems (ideally Zephyr)
• Experience with ARM-based SoCs, preferably NXP i.MX platforms
• Strong programming skills in C; familiarity with C++ is a plus
• Understanding of common embedded interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet)
• Experience working in Linux-based development environments and with cross compilation toolchains
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Good English communication skills; German is a plus
