We are looking for a Senior Embedded Engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware and applications for long-term client engagements. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams on both technical and delivery aspects. The ideal candidate will take ownership of assigned modules end-to-end, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery while working with minimal supervision and demonstrating a strong problem-solving mindset.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze software requirements and define functional and non-functional specifications.
• Design, develop, and implement embedded firmware, drivers, middleware, and applications.
• Write production-quality code and perform developer-level testing.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining high code quality.
• Communicate requirements, progress, and deliverables clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to ensure overall project success.
• Handle priority changes and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Address escalations by quickly identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Stay current with relevant technologies, tools, and development practices.
Qualifications & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware and application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Embedded C.
• Solid knowledge of Embedded Linux and/or RTOS internals (e.g., FreeRTOS).
• Experience developing firmware, drivers, middleware, and embedded applications.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall development environments.
• Familiarity with development, debugging, testing, bug tracking, collaboration, and version control tools.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
