Senior Electrical Systems Installation Engineer (m/w/d)

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Systems Installation Engineer with 5–10 years of proven experience in the aerospace industry. Candidates should be proficient in the following tasks:

• Reading, understanding, and proposing modifications to electrical wiring diagrams
• Definition of 3D routings for electrical harnesses in aircraft
• Ensuring compliance with harness installation requirements on aircraft (EWIS regulations)
• Deploying and maintaining databases for electrical components and parts lists
• Conducting Design-to-Cost (DtC) analysis to optimize technical and commercial feasibility
• Detailed harness design, including flattening and generation of manufacturing BOMs

Your missions will be:

• Definition of 3D routings for electrical harnesses in aircraft
• Compliance with harness installation requirements on aircraft
• Deploy and maintain databases on electrical components and parts lists
• Design-to-Cost analysis to optimize designs
• Harness detailed design, including flattening and BOM for manufacturing

Requirements:
• Engineer (University/Higher Education Degree) or Technical Specialist (Certificate of Higher Education – HNC or Vocational Education and Training – VET)
• Spanish: C1 level, English: minimum B1 level
• Prior experience in a similar role such as Design Engineer, MAP Support Engineer, or Technical Specialist in aerospace or complex manufacturing environments

Mandatory Skills

• Trained in electrical systems engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in harness routing and flattening
• In-depth knowledge of EWIS rules and their application in aircraft electrical installations
• Advanced proficiency in CATIA V5; knowledge of 3DEXPERIENCE (F3Dexp) is a plus
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and provide integration improvements
• Excellent teamwork, analytical thinking, and communication skills

Soft Skills

• Strong team collaboration and cross-functional communication
• Curiosity about functional system behavior and design intent
• Flexibility to adapt to various project demands and customer requirements

Optional Skills

• Experience in mechanical support structure design
• Familiarity with SIDIE and SeeXP software
