We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our RAIL team in Naples. The ideal candidate is hands-on, autonomous, and comfortable working across both technical and cross-functional activities in a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and document electrical designs using computer-aided engineering tools
• Size electrical lines and optimize equipment cabling to reduce assembly time
• Analyze technical specifications and elaborate feasibility studies from customer requirements
• Define the conceptual solution and architecture of electrical systems based on requirements and vehicle configuration
• Verify and trace requirements using DOORS
• Support the purchasing department during procurement of materials and subsystems
• Collaborate with industrial engineering and production teams during vehicle assembly phases
• Provide support across engineering groups, suppliers, and customers throughout the product lifecycle (GPLM)

• Proven electrical design experience in electromechanical industries, preferably in the railway domain
• Degree in Electrical or Electrotechnical Engineering
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
• Experience with CAE tools – E3 Series Zuken preferred; SEE Electrical Expert also considered
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Visio, Access)
• Knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
• Ability to manage tasks independently and within a team
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and business process skills
• Effective communicator across internal functions, suppliers, and external partners
• Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to evolving technologies and industry practices

Languages

• Italian native speaker – mandatory
• English at least C1 level – mandatory (international working environment)
