Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Center Solutions

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to help us grow our Data Center Solutions Team. You will be responsible for Data Center customized solutions execution, while being the Lead of electrical discipline design for data center projects.

Main tasks:

• Responsible for electrical discipline design in data center projects.
• Develop diverse design documentation: power schematics (single and multi-line), power load calculations, general architectural floor plan, lighting and small power layout, grounding and bonding layout, cable tray layout, cable running list, fire detection and suppression layout, sensors, monitoring and control layout, installation and maintenance manuals, FAT and SAT procedures.
• Coordination of detailed technical solutions with other disciplines leads on project (structural and HVAC).
• Lead engineer on selected applicable projects.
• Arrange Bill of Material and services required for project execution.
• Communicate with the customer to design the best solution possible.
• Communicate with subcontractors during project execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during infrastructure installation and commissioning, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
• Supervise quality control of the installation in the factory and on site.
• Perform solution test procedures for internal control and acceptance tests in front of customer.
• Quality control of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Sales support - solution development, quotations, and solution presentations to customers.

• 10 to 15 years work experience in electrical applications.
• 5 to 10 years work experience in Data centers or similar large and complex projects.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from the faculty of Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in electrical design and documentation development.
• Experience with critical electrical equipment: UPS, batteries, ATS, Switchboards
• Experience in Data Center electrical applications.
• Experience in DC systems and telecom power solutions.
• Strong understanding of data center design principles and methodologies.
• Uptime ATD certification.
• TIA942 accredited designer or similar Data Center Design certification.
• Knowledge of CAD software, EPLAN, Short circuit calculation and Coordination study and Autodesk REVIT (preferred).
• Advanced communication skills, both written and oral, to work across multiple Engineering and Manufacturing teams to bring architectures and concepts to deployment.
• Very good oral and written communication skills in English Language.
• Customer interaction to transition thoughts and concepts into solutions and delivering that interaction through documented specifications.
• Possible business trips around Globe for customer meetings and technical discussions. Installation of building on final site destination, supervision, and commissioning on site.
