YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You will define and drive the data science strategy for dynamic pricing, performance marketing, and personalization — creating scalable, production-grade AI systems that directly impact revenue and growth.

• You will partner with executive leadership across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Commercial to shape long‑term pricing and customer value strategies.

• You will lead innovation in advanced modeling including causal inference, reinforcement learning, and optimization under uncertainty to power real-time decision systems.

• You will oversee experimentation frameworks, uplift modeling, and incrementality testing to elevate measurement standards across the organization.

• You will collaborate closely with ML Engineering and platform teams to ensure robust production pipelines, model governance, and real‑time performance reliability.

• You will mentor, develop, and scale a high-performing Data Science team, fostering a culture of analytical excellence, speed, and measurable business impact.

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Leadership: 8+ years in Data Science/ML roles with proven experience leading teams and influencing strategic decisions.
• Causal Inference: Strong expertise in counterfactual modeling, uplift modeling, incrementality testing, and marketing attribution.
• Optimization: Solid foundation in linear/nonlinear optimization, stochastic modeling, reinforcement learning, and forecasting.
• Production ML: Experience deploying and maintaining ML systems in real-time or low-latency environments with strong MLOps understanding.
• Technical Depth: Advanced Python skills and deep familiarity with modern ML frameworks and scalable cloud environments.
• Education: Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field such as Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics.
