About the opportunity

We are on the lookout for a Senior Director, Quick Commerce Performance (all genders) to join the International Markets team  on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences. 

Be part of the team that shapes Delivery Hero’s strategy across our markets worldwide. In the International Markets Team, you’ll contribute to high-impact projects that drive value, support profitability, and unlock growth opportunities on a global scale. Working closely with regional and central leadership, your work will directly influence how we prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and execute strategies that keep us ahead.

Your mission: 

• Retail media acceleration: Unlock the full monetization potential of our large, loyal customer base. You will drive the framework to accelerate retail media bookings and deepen our penetration into the CPG and advertising agency segments, turning our platform into a premier media destination.

• Logistics Efficiencies: Deep-dive into the last-mile and middle-mile operations. You will identify opportunities to optimize picking times, delivery density, and fleet utilization, ensuring transformation efforts translate into lower CPO (Cost Per Order).

• Long-Tail Vendor Negotiations: Overhaul how we manage our vast network of partners. You will drive the framework for high-volume, automated, or centralized negotiations to improve margins and streamline the assortment.

• Organizational Benchmarking: Establish "what good looks like." You will compare performance and structures across our diverse geographies to identify top-performing entities, extract their best practices, and industrialize those "ways of working" globally.

• Execute the Transformation Roadmap: Move beyond strategy into heavy-lifting execution. You will organize your team to tackle the three intervention areas above, ensuring projects move from pilot to global scale.

• Influence & Align Senior Leadership: Act as a critical partner to Country COOs. You must be able to influence large groups of senior stakeholders across different cultures, building consensus on why and how change must happen.

• Performance Accountability: Own the "Performance Delta." You aren't just tracking KPIs; you are responsible for the initiatives that move them.

• Navigate Ambiguity & Clarify Action: In a decentralized organization, the path forward isn't always clear. You will be the one to provide clarity, distilling complex problems into simple, actionable steps for your team and the local entities.

• Team Leadership: Manage a core team in Berlin, providing the coaching they need to execute in a high-pressure environment.

What you need to be successful

• Leadership experience  in ecommerce, operations, logistics, or management consulting. You have a proven track record of driving change in a "boots-on-the-ground" capacity.

• You can navigate a complex global matrix. You know how to push for results while maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with regional leaders.

• You thrive on getting things done. You possess the "clarifying power" to take a messy organizational challenge and turn it into a structured project plan.

• You are comfortable with deep data. You know how to use benchmarking to create a sense of urgency and a roadmap for laggard markets.
