Job Description

HelloFresh is seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Product to lead our Advertising Technology team within the Marketing Tech Alliance. This is a critical leadership role focused on optimizing our ad tech and marketing strategies, ensuring efficient media spend, and driving measurable business outcomes. The role is currently open due to a potential leadership transition, and we are proactively building a talent pipeline to ensure continued success in this domain.

As a leader in this space, you will play a key role in managing a $1.2 billion advertising budget, with direct oversight of $400 million in ad spend, driving performance through ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) and enhancing customer value through marketing attribution and automation.

You will …

• Develop and execute a best-in-class advertising technology strategy, optimizing our marketing investments and ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Lead and mentor a high-performing product team (6-7 people directly), fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation

• Drive the implementation of a new advertising attribution mechanism and spearhead automation of search advertising by year-end

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, data science, engineering, and executive leadership, to enhance our ad tech stack and measurement capabilities

• Leverage data-driven insights to refine ad strategies, improve campaign performance, and enhance marketing automation capabilities

• Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring HelloFresh remains at the forefront of marketing innovation and advertising efficiency

You have…

• Proven expertise in ad tech, ideally with experience in the field within the last five years

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and hold teams accountable while fostering autonomy

• Experience managing large-scale ad budgets, optimizing media spend, and improving marketing ROI

• Strategic mindset, capable of balancing high-level vision with executional excellence

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
