Senior Director, Marketing Technology (MarTech)

What you’ll achieve
As the Senior Director of MarTech, you will lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of Dell’s global marketing technology ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, data, technology, and privacy, and is responsible for scaling platforms that drive personalization, signal-based activation, measurement, and business growth.
Based in Austin, Texas, this leader will partner closely with Marketing, Digital, Data, IT, Privacy, and external partners to modernize and optimize our MarTech and AdTech stack while preparing the organization for AI-driven and agentic marketing.
You will:
• Own the end-to-end MarTech and AdTech vision, roadmap, and operating model
• Serve as a senior advisor to marketing and executive leadership on technology-enabled growth and measurement
• Translate business priorities into scalable, privacy-safe marketing technology solutions
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of MarTech, AdTech, and platform specialists
• Oversee Advertising Technology platforms including DSPs, DMPs, identity, clean rooms, and measurement
• Oversee first-party data and signal capture across owned digital experiences
• Lead in-house media and analytics platforms including Google Cloud Platform, Adobe Target, and Google Marketing Platform (GA360, SA360, CM360)
• Manage and evolve Dell’s in‑house media agency, ensuring world‑class media strategy, activation, operations, and measurement in collaboration with global marketing and business partners
• Define architecture standards, data flows, and integrations in partnership with IT and Enterprise Architecture
• Advance cross-channel measurement, attribution, and incrementality
• Enable real-time and near-real-time signal activation
• Establish governance for data usage, consent, identity, and vendor access
• Partner with Legal, Privacy, and Security to ensure regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA)
• Drive vendor accountability, contract optimization, and risk management
• Prepare the MarTech ecosystem for AI-assisted and agentic capabilities
• Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies while balancing innovation with enterprise scale

Essential Requirements
• 12+ years of experience in MarTech, AdTech, marketing technology, or digital platforms with senior leadership responsibility
• Proven ownership of enterprise-scale marketing and advertising platforms
• Deep expertise in first-party data, identity, and signal-based marketing
• Strong understanding of paid media ecosystems and activation workflows
• Experience with privacy, consent management, and data governance
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams across Marketing, IT, Data, and external partners
• Experience managing large vendor portfolios and multi-million-dollar budgets
• Strategic, execution-oriented leader with strong executive presence
• Technically fluent and business-outcome driven
• Experience in global, matrixed organizations preferred
• Familiarity with AI-driven marketing and privacy-first environments a plus
Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $230,000 - $300,000.
