As the Senior Director of Global Strategic Alignment, you will ensure alignment and coherence across our global operations and strategic initiatives within the Development, Regulatory, and Safety (DRS) Department and report to theED, DevelopmentStrategyand Integration.You will work closely with executive leadership to drive strategic planning, execution, and performance monitoring, ensuring that our activities align with our long-termobjectivesand contribute to our overall growth and success.You will translate theALXNCell Tx platform vision into clear, actionable plans for delivery acrossthe TAsand functions.Working in a cross-matrix team with shifting priorities in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, this includes adapting ways of working for the unique needs ofourCell Therapy programs.

You willbe responsible for

Lead the development and refinement of global strategic plans, collaborate with key stakeholders globally across functions and regions. Translate corporateCellTxvision into actionable strategies,milestonesand initiativesglobally.

Drive alignment of strategic priorities across functions and geographies to ensure coherence and alignment of resource allocation. Foster collaboration and integration to maximize synergies and minimize redundancies

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Therapeutic Area (TA) Heads and DRS leadership and other keystakeholders within the AZ Cell Tx environment.

Drive organizational change initiatives to support the implementation of strategic prioritieswithin the Cell Txplatfrom.

Effectively create and manage change management strategies across DRS to communicate,implementand manage adoption to ensure successful execution.

Exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to routinely predict,identify, generate, and evaluate alternative solutions to barriers in the business to keep the portfolio progressing to plan.

Drive fiscal prudence whilebalancing withoperational effectiveness in DRS by pressure testing study budgets, minimizingspend, developing strategies for cost savings while building internal knowledge &expertisein the delivery of clinical trials.

Lead cross-functional & global business excellence initiatives to streamline or developprocess, speed upexecutionand remove barriers across DRS.

Ensure approaches are in full compliance with all legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

You will need to have

A degree in a science-related industry or business administration with a proventrack recordin thepharma, biotech, or CRO Industry.Experience with advanced therapies or complex clinical platforms is preferred.(Ph.D., MSc, MBA, BSc.)

Experience with cellTxdevelopmentorplatform managementis a plus

A minimum of 10 years of managerial experience in Business Management, Alliance, Business operations, or related roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.Demonstrated experienceoperatingacross global,cross-matrix environments.

Experience withmanaging multiple projects with the ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and derive actionable insights.

Excellent leadership and influencing skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving change in a dynamic environment.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.

Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving innovation and growth.
