What you will do

As our Senior Director of Engineering, you will be the definitive operational and technical leader for our critical Enterprise engineering vertical. You will provide the vision, operational rigor, and hands-on leadership needed to build a delivery engine for our largest customers. In this role, you will lead a department of multiple engineering teams, drive significant technical and process-oriented change, and ensure predictable, high-quality delivery across the entire engineering organization for all enterprise commitments.

Where you will have impact

• Establish and govern a culture of operational excellence, creating the processes, documentation, and delivery cadence required for consistent, reliable execution.

• Lead, mentor, and elevate a department of engineers and team leads, and be actively involved in the development of talent and future leaders by providing them with frameworks and opportunities for growth.

• Align the goals of several different engineering teams, ensuring they work together cohesively to achieve a unified outcome for our enterprise products.

• Initiate and drive major initiatives across business units, adopt artificial intelligence tools to modernize our technology stack and improve operational efficiency for long-term growth.

• Effectively negotiate and reconcile multiple stakeholder views-from product and sales to our enterprise customers-to drive business results.

• Serve as a key engineering voice to our enterprise customers, building their confidence through clear communication on complex technical topics and delivery roadmaps.

You will lead the engineering function for our Enterprise Vertical, the strategic heart of Lighthouse that delivers data and distribution solutions to the world's largest hospitality brands. This is a cross-functional domain that taps into nearly every engineering team across the organization. You will have the unique opportunity to bring structure and clarity to this complex environment, creating the operational backbone for this fast-growing business segment. Who you are

• Proven experience as a senior engineering leader in a complex environment, delivering enterprise solutions.

• A strong track record of bringing operational rigor to an engineering organization, with demonstrated success in establishing roadmapping, delivery cadences, and clear processes.

• You have a strong growth mindset and a vision for how AI will reshape the engineering landscape.You actively experiment with AI to evolve your own workflow and elevate the team’s delivery.

• Experience initiating and driving major technical initiatives that cross teams and functions, such as legacy system transformations or large-scale migrations.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor and elevate engineers and other engineering leaders, identifying high-potentials and helping them grow.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to reconcile multiple stakeholder views to drive business results.

• Hands-on technical expertise with the ability to get close to data models and architecture to guide your teams effectively.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, with experience presenting to executive leadership and customers.
