Position Overview

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Director / Director of Cost Planning (CDU5 20004897) to lead our cost planning efforts for major projects. In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cost management strategies that align with our ambitious development goals, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial performance across all initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive cost planning and budgeting processes for projects, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Collaborate with project teams to provide accurate cost estimates, forecasts, and financial analyses that guide decision-making throughout project lifecycles.
• Oversee the cost management function, including monitoring and controlling project budgets, cash flow, and resource allocations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments.
• Drive best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the Cost Planning Team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Represent the company in engagements with external partners, consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
• Analyze market trends and competitive benchmarks to inform cost strategies and improve project outcomes.

Requirements:
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in cost planning, financial management, or related roles within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record in leading cost planning teams and managing complex financial processes.
• Deep understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, financial forecasting, and project controls methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to foster collaborative relationships.
• Proficient in relevant software applications and financial modeling tools.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Quantity Surveyor (CQS) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus.
