Job Summary:
This is a strategic role in the marketing team of Star Plus that will contribute to the overall reach and growth of the channel. This role will be responsible for managing on- air, PR, digital and all other media roll-out of campaigns for all new launches. It will also involve overlooking the marketing and overall health of sustenance shows as well.

About the team:
This team ideates & implements marketing interventions to increase brand awareness, drive sampling and improve viewership of content on our channel.

Key Responsibilities::
• Design and implement Marketing and Communication plan for allocated shows and slots
• Key driver for all digital show launch campaigns as well as sustenance initiatives to help grow the channel viewership for all channel shows and slots
• Mapping and understanding consumer behavior, through deep collaboration with the Insights team to identify the right communication levers basis consumer feedback on content and promotion for allocated shows and slots
• Directly responsible for all programming & channel related communication across all mediums, like TV, print, digital, offline etc. for the allocated shows and slots. This includes Brand Marketing, Impact, Sustenance, PR, Digital marketing, Ground activation & events agencies
• Keen eye on the overall business and step up wherever required to build viewership and revenue for the business

Skills & Attributes for success::
• Meeting show and channel targets set by business.
• Will be expected to come up with at least one break through idea for the shows in each quarter.
• Understand BARC data to be able to analyze and act on the same. Should be good with both quant and qual. Should be comfortable rolling out marketing/ creative briefs.
• Ability to collaborate with different stakeholders

Preferred Education & Experience:
• Over 12 years of experience in the Television, OTT, and Advertising Agencies
• Postgraduate qualification required
