Required Skills
Job Description
AdFarm, a 40+-year-old Agri-Marketing business whose PURPOSE is to be a catalyst for the advancement of agriculture. To help agriculture move forward, we are reinforcing the importance of service in how we work and behave—towards our clients, suppliers, connections, and of course, our fellow AdFarmers.
We all work together to bridge the gap between producer and consumer.
We specialize in Strategic Planning, Creative Services, Public Relations, Media Planning, Marketing Science, Content Creation and Research. If you want to belong to a team that does that well every day, this company’s a great fit for you.
Our clients range from crop and crop chemical, nutrition & protection to technology, sustainability, food & animal health. If you have experience working with this type of client – or want that experience – this role will be a great fit.
You will love it here if you follow these GUIDEPOSTS:
Are you being agile?
Responding quickly to changes—from the client and in the marketing world. Making actionable decisions. Doing whatever it takes to get it done well—on time and on budget. Developing and following processes that allow for even greater effectiveness.
Are you being smart?
Right from the start. Knowing when to ask, when to act and when to use all of your resources to solve a problem? Investing in yourself to keep up with the ever-evolving world of our clients—and our communications industry.
Are you being helpful?
Pitching in when it counts and doing whatever it takes to do an amazing job for your clients. Having direct and difficult conversations when necessary. Setting clear expectations for you, your supervisor and those you supervise.
As a Senior Digital Project Manager, you lead the kind of work that doesn’t fit neatly in a box—large, integrated programs with a lot of moving parts, a lot of people, and high expectations.
You’re not just managing timelines—you’re connecting dots across disciplines, bringing structure to complexity, and keeping teams aligned when things get messy (because they always do). You have a specialty, but you think beyond it—seeing the full program and how every piece fits together. You bring strong technical fluency to the role—you don’t need to build it, but you understand how digital experiences come together. You can translate between teams, ask the right questions, and spot risks early—before they turn into rework or missed expectations.
You stay close to the work, but you’re also lifting the team around you. PMs look to you for guidance, clarity, and a steady hand when things get complicated. You’ll love coming to work every day if you Get, Want, and have the Capacity to be accountable to the following:
Digital Delivery Integrity
Financial Control
Team Enablement
Integrated Digital Program Alignment
You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and have the capabilities to do the following things:
Delivering large, high-value digital work with clarity and control
Cross-channel dependencies (web, media, CRM, analytics) are connected
Digital scopes reflect real requirements (platforms, environments, integrations)
Keeping budgets and scope on track (and flagging when they’re not)
Managing complexity without slowing things down
Comfortable in working across CMS-driven websites and content workflows
Comfortable in Platform and integration considerations (CRM, marketing automation, APIs)
QA, UAT, and launch processes for digital experiences
Raising the bar on how we plan and deliver work
Leading teams with confidence, especially when things are ambiguous
Creating a balance between process and practicality
What Success Looks Like
You’re the go-to when the work is complex, messy, or high-stakes
Teams feel aligned, supported, and clear on what needs to happen next
Digital work launches cleanly because the right questions were asked early
Work runs smoother because of the structure you’ve put in place
PMs are getting better because of your guidance
Reduced disconnects between teams (qualitative, but obvious in retros)
Stakeholders trust you and feel confident in delivery
You bring calm, clarity, and direction—especially when things get chaotic
We train our team to help them succeed, and everyone on our team helps with our success. In this role, you’ll need to come to the table with the following qualifications:
Must have 5+ years of experience in Digital and Traditional Marketing Project Management.
Must have at least 3 years of experience working in an advertisement agency environment.
Having post-secondary education or a PMP designation is an asset.
Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
Experience in the agriculture industry considered a strong asset.
Will manage and train other PM’s on the project cycle of digital initiatives such as website development or app creation.
The ability to easily build relationships with a multi-disciplined, collaborative team and communicate complex and interconnected workflows.
Be a critical thinker that is detail oriented, extremely organized, and possesses excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills.
Excellent networking and liaison skills with demonstrated client management skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage client project budgets.
The salary range for this role is $75-90k/year. All employees will receive a benefits package, an automatic 3% RRSP contribution on an annual basis, Health Spending Account, Health and Cell Phone Reimbursements, and we can offer a hybrid working environment with a wonderful group of top talent individuals.
Culture is everything for us and so we do our best to hire according to alike values and mutual respects.
We are a TEAM and we are looking for like-minded individuals that are eager to contribute as such.
