Senior DevOps Sovereign Cloud (m/w/d)

Your mission:
As a DevOps Engineer in our SINA Cloud team, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing our highly secure cloud platform for confidential data and critical infrastructures. You’re truly a problem solver, with one of your greatest strengths being the ability to analyze complex systems and develop innovative solutions. You’ll continuously optimize, automate, and enhance our secure cloud infrastructure. With your expertise in Kubernetes and Python, you’ll drive sustainable improvements in the operation and scalability of our solutions. You’ll actively lead the transition to continuous delivery and develop tailored solutions for complex challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you’ll be a valued mentor within our team, supporting the continuous improvement of our processes and colleagues.

Your tasks:
• Advancing the SINA Cloud platform with a focus on security, scalability, and reliability  
• Designing and implementing infrastructure and automation solutions using Kubernetes and Python and/or Ansible  
• Ensuring stable continuous delivery processes and pipelines  
• Analyzing and resolving complex infrastructure issues to ensure efficient cloud operations  
• Mentoring junior DevOps engineers and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team  
• Collaborating closely with other teams to integrate new features and optimize existing solutions

Requirements:
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and managing containerized applications  
• Strong proficiency in Python and Golang (Go), along with experience in developing cloud automation solutions
• 5–7 years of professional experience in DevOps or cloud development  
• Hands-on experience with continuous delivery processes and pipelines  
• Ideally, familiarity with OpenStack, and cloud security architectures  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and fluent English communication skills  
• German language skills and certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS are a plus
