Your Mission:

As a DevOps-focused Software Engineer, your mission is to build and sustain the automation, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines that power secure, scalable systems in a high-impact mission environment. You'll be responsible for container orchestration, full CI/CD lifecycle support, and infrastructure management in AWS—ensuring that development teams can deliver quickly, reliably, and securely.

• You proactively troubleshoot and improve systems to support seamless delivery
• You enjoy collaborating across engineering teams to streamline processes and enhance stability

A day in the Life::
• Design, deploy, and manage Docker-based container environments
• Oversee AWS HCI configuration, deployment, and resource management
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines supporting the full software development lifecycle
• Apply infrastructure-as-code principles using Ansible, YAML, and Terraform
• Support integration and automation efforts across DevOps and development teams

Must Have::
• 7+ years of relevant software or DevOps experience
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
• Experience with Docker and containerization
• Experience managing AWS HCI environments
• Experience building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
• Proficiency in YAML
• Proficiency in JSON
• Experience using EC2 instances
• Experience with Ansible
• Experience with Java
• Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript

Nice to Have::
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation
• Knowledge of networking and load balancing fundamentals
• Familiarity with TLS, SSL, and certificate management
• Exposure to ELK stack for system monitoring and log analysis
• Interest or experience in transitioning from Docker to Kubernetes clusters
