Job Description
About CouponFollow:
Established in 2010 and acquired by System1 (NYSE:SST) in 2022, CouponFollow is a fast-growing, international product company with a headquarters in NY. With over 10 million monthly users, our two primary savings tools, the CouponFollow site and the Cently browser extension, have helped save shoppers over $400+ million by intelligently finding coupons, discovering deals, and earning rewards.
We're a truly global team of almost 100 people, with our engineering talent located primarily in Poland, but also in Pakistan and the Philippines, and our business team based in the U.S. We thrive in a remote-first culture, while still enjoying occasional in-person meetups. Additionally, our cozy office in Toruń, Poland, provides a hub for collaborative events.
About the Role and Your Impact:
We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer as we are expanding our small (3 people) but mighty team responsible for the platform. We need an engineer who treats infrastructure like software engineering. You should have a deep grasp of Azure internals, a "Platform-as-a-Product" mindset, and the confidence to lead a feature end-to-end, communicating with your "customers" (our developers) translating their needs into solid, scalable platform components.
Your mission: abstract away complexity so developers can ship fast without worrying about networking, permissions, or infrastructure details.
What You Will Do:
• Design and build “golden paths” and platform components that make development fast, safe, and frictionless
• Architect Azure Landing Zones using Terraform (and Bicep where needed)
• Build and evolve our platform using Azure Container Apps, App Services, and Functions (to squeeze the most out of these managed services and advise us on our future direction)
• Create reusable modules and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) with built-in security and quality checks
• Own the “hard parts” — networking, security, and connectivity — and make them invisible to developers
• Automate everything you can, using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Drive initiatives end-to-end: gather feedback, demo solutions, iterate fast
• Take part in a support routine. We follow a clear ownership model: product teams own their applications, while we focus on the platform incidents and assistance.
• Shape our future platform strategy
What We Offer:
• B2B contract with a U.S.-based company
• Remote-first work environment
• Flexible working hours
• Hourly rate: $40-50 (Payment is made in USD, with exchange rate compensation up to 1 USD = 4 PLN)
• 10 days (80 hours) of paid Recharge Days per year (after 6 months)
• Annual bonus (min. 5% of yearly earnings)
• $1,000 annual learning budget + paid learning time (up to 3h/week)
• MyBenefit cafeteria program
• Fully funded offsites
• All necessary equipment and software licenses provided
• Real ownership and impact — your work directly shapes how engineers build
• Modern stack, no legacy baggage
• Space to experiment and innovate
• A culture that’s still startup-like: fast, pragmatic, and low on bureaucracy
