Senior DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to architect and shape the future of our infrastructure and automation for Ivanti Neurons for Mobile Device Management (MDM). In this strategic role, you’ll design, code, and drive infrastructure that powers Ivanti’s N-MDM products on a global scale.

Why This Role Matters

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll partner with agile teams, inspire fellow engineers, and spearhead initiatives critical to the stability and expansion of our N-MDM platform. Your expertise will help shape how we build, deploy, and manage cloud solutions at Ivanti.

What You’ll Do:

• Architect, design, and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using Azure, AWS, Terraform, Python, CFN, and modern DevOps tools.

• Write production-ready code every day for automation, pipeline development, and infrastructure management—this is an active coding role.

• Lead DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline creation, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and ongoing monitoring.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex deployment issues to ensure system reliability.

• Mentor fellow engineers with technical reviews and best-practice sharing in coding and DevOps workflows.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps solutions with product, security, and SRE priorities.

• Author and maintain clear technical documentation for infrastructure, codebases, and processes.

• Champion Agile development and a culture of improvement through active participation in sprints and engineering discussions.

What You Will Bring:

Essential skills/experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.

• Deep expertise with Azure, AWS, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Bicep, Helm).

• Strong coding skills in Python, Shell, Go, or similar for automation tasks.

• 3+ years designing and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).

• Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployments.

• Technical leadership and mentoring experience.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum teams.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

• Collaborative mindset and eagerness to share knowledge and learn.

Nice-to-haves:

• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS/Azure).

• Experience working in enterprise/global environments.

• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud and DevOps.
