We’re supporting a growing team within a global financial information and technology organisation, hiring a Senior Derivatives Analyst to support regulatory risk and compliance activity across complex client engagements. This role sits within a specialist Networks function that provides technology-enabled solutions to help firms manage counterparty risk, regulatory obligations, and operational efficiency.
You’ll work closely with clients, internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to deliver high-quality regulatory and counterparty analysis, manage multiple workstreams and contribute to continuous process improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage multiple client requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
• Assess scope of work and project plans, recommending process improvements where appropriate
• Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams and external vendors
• Prepare project trackers and lead client update meetings covering milestones, risks and challenges
• Identify and resolve gaps in processes and project execution
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client and stakeholder relationships
• Interpret financial and legal entity documentation across multiple jurisdictions
• Quickly develop expertise in proprietary products and client business models
• Support clients in navigating new regulatory requirements and implementing new workflows
Requirements:
• 1 - 3 years’ experience in a regulatory, risk or compliance-related role
• Experience with KYC documentation and onboarding processes
• Exposure to derivatives trading
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage pressure and competing priorities effectively
• Clear, confident communication and presentation skills
• Solid understanding of financial services and investment management operations
• High attention to detail with a quality-driven mindset
• Strong Excel skills; proficient across the Microsoft Office suite
