Senior Demand Planner
Warsaw, Poland
Hybrid model of working (3 days in office)
As a Senior Demand Planner, you will play a key role in driving high-quality demand plans and enabling effective business decisions across the organization. You will work closely with Commercial, Marketing, and Finance teams, leveraging internal and external data (incl. market insights) to ensure accurate forecasting, proactive risk management, and continuous improvement of planning processes in a dynamic FMCG environment.
So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
• 3+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain within FMCG, managing complex, multi-category or multi-market portfolios (will be advantage)
• Strong understanding of S&OP/IBP processes and demand planning fundamentals (deep statistical modeling expertise not required)
• Advanced analytical skills with ability to interpret multiple data sources (incl. Nielsen/market data) and translate insights into clear, actionable decisions
• Proven track record in improving forecast accuracy, managing demand risks, and driving continuous process improvements
• Strong business partnering skills with Commercial, Marketing, and Finance; ability to challenge assumptions and influence senior stakeholders without formal authority
• Deep understanding of FMCG dynamics: promotions, seasonality, new product launches (NPD), and portfolio lifecycle management
• Advanced systems proficiency: SAP (APO/IBP), Excel, Power BI; experience in planning system optimization is an advantage
• Ability to lead cross-functional alignment and act as a subject matter expert; mentoring junior team members is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree required; APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or Master’s degree is a plus
• Fluent English & Polish
