The Role: To start from 1st July 2026
We are seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Operations Manager to join our Business Operations organization. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, scaling delivery capabilities, and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives within the payments domain.
The Senior Delivery Operations Manager operates at both strategic and execution levels, owning delivery frameworks, operational governance, and continuous improvement initiatives, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across Technology, Product, Compliance, Risk, and Commercial teams.
This role is ideal for a leader who combines strong delivery management expertise with an operational mindset, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can translate strategy into measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery & Operational Leadership:
• Own and continuously improve end-to-end delivery operations across multiple initiatives, ensuring predictable, high-quality outcomes aligned with business objectives.
• Define, implement, and govern delivery standards, methodologies, and operational best practices across the Business Operations function.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex delivery, operational, and dependency-related challenges.
• Ensure alignment between strategic priorities and execution plans, balancing speed, quality, risk, and cost.
Portfolio & Program Management:
• Oversee a portfolio of operational and payments-related initiatives, including migrations, process transformations, regulatory-driven projects, and platform enhancements.
• Establish and maintain portfolio-level visibility, tracking progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes across initiatives.
• Drive prioritization and sequencing of initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management:
• Serve as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders across Technology, Product, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Commercial teams.
• Translate business objectives into clear delivery plans, ensuring shared understanding and accountability.
• Communicate delivery status, risks, and decisions clearly and effectively at all organizational levels.
Operational Excellence & Process Optimization:
• Lead initiatives focused on process optimization, operational scalability, and efficiency improvements within payments and business operations.
• Identify systemic bottlenecks and root causes, driving sustainable improvements rather than short-term fixes.
• Stay current with industry trends in payments, financial services, and delivery operations, applying relevant innovations to improve performance.
Governance, Risk & Quality Management:
• Establish and maintain strong delivery governance, including cadence, reporting, and decision-making frameworks.
• Proactively identify and mitigate delivery and operational risks, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
• Define and enforce quality assurance standards to ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency of delivery outcomes.
Resource & Capability Management:
• Partner with resource and functional managers to ensure optimal allocation of delivery and operational capacity.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and accountable delivery culture.
Reporting & Executive Communication:
• Own delivery and operational reporting, ensuring data-driven insights through KPIs, dashboards, and executive-level updates.
• Provide clear recommendations and options to leadership to support informed decision-making.
Requirements:
• We are looking for someone to join our team in July 2026
• Strong operational and delivery leadership with the ability to influence without authority.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage ambiguity, complexity, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• 5+ years of experience in Delivery Management, Program Management, or Operations roles within financial services or payments.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional delivery portfolios.
• Strong familiarity with delivery and project management tools (e.g., Jira, PPM360, MS Project, Smartsheet, Monday, or similar).
• Proven experience operating in regulated, high-availability environments.
Benefits:
• A challenging job in a fast-developing, international company.
• A friendly work environment where you can thrive and develop your skills.
• Career advancement possibilities.
• Competitive remuneration package.
• Additional Health insurance incl. Dentist.
• Fully covered MultiSport card.
• Food vouchers.
• Employee discounts card, Seminars and conference tickets, Playroom, and other additional perks.
