Job Description
We are partnering with a leading global specialty insurer to hire a Senior Delegated Underwriting Bordereaux Analyst. This role sits within a high-performing Delegated Underwriting Operations team responsible for managing a substantial and growing portfolio of European and Asian delegated authority business.
This is a key position offering both technical ownership and team oversight, supporting the accurate processing, reporting, and governance of bordereaux data across the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the mapping and processing of bordereaux within the bordereaux management system, liaising closely with underwriters where required
• Oversee and support junior analysts, including training and day-to-day guidance
• Manage queries, exceptions, and data discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Maintain and organise electronic records within Salesforce
• Perform source system data entry and validation
• Support bureau processing, including contract and endorsement production under the central settlement number
• Produce regular management information for internal committees and senior stakeholders
• Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvements driven by delegated underwriting leadership
• Review and approve new bordereaux mappings within VIPR
• Monitor and manage relevant market bulletins and regulatory updates
Requirements:
• Strong experience within delegated underwriting, bordereaux management, or delegated authority operations
• Proven ability to manage workloads, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Confident stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across underwriting, operations, and external partners
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and quantitative capabilities
• Experience using bordereaux systems (e.g. VIPR) and CRM tools such as Salesforce
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a professional and approachable communication style
• Previous experience managing or mentoring junior team members is advantageous
Benefits:
Permanent contract.
Paying up to £58,000 per annum.
