Job Description

Please Note: This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week. Additionally, employment with BambooHR is contingent on passing both a background and credit check.

Essential Job Duties

A Senior Deal Desk Analyst supports sales by structuring, pricing, and streamlining complex deals, ensuring compliance with company policies, and facilitating approvals across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams, aiming to accelerate the sales cycle, optimize profitability, and maintain customer satisfaction through expert process management and financial analysis. Key responsibilities include analyzing deal impact, generating accurate quotes, managing non-standard requests, and serving as a subject matter expert on deal flows and systems.

You will:

• Deal Structuring: Assist sales in structuring quotes and guide on discount and contract terms.

• Approvals: Manage the review and approval process for non-standard requests with their guardrails, ensuring adherence to internal policies.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success to ensure seamless communication and alignment on deals, and assessing financial implications of complex deals.

• Analytical Support: Analyze data to identify trends in win/loss & competitive reporting and provide data driven recommendations.

• Process Optimization: Help support leadership in recommending ways to streamline the end to end deal process to improve efficiency and deal cycles.

What You Need to Get the Job Done:

• 3+ years of experience in a finance, deal desk, legal, or sales operations role, preferably within a B2B software sales environment.

• Proven experience in understanding SaaS agreements and multi-element sales agreements.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
