At Finsolutia, we are growing our Information Technology (IT) team and are looking for an Senior Data Warehouse Engineer (M/F) to join us in Lisbon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys working with data, thrives on solving complex challenges, and wants to play a key role in shaping data-driven decision-making across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our collaborative IT team, you will:

Designing and developing data models, ETL pipelines and data integration processes by integrating data from various sources (databases, APIs, streaming platforms, etc.)

Ensuring every DWH process precision, efficiency and scalability through monitoring, tuning and optimizing the platform.

Help expanding data models of our  Data Warehouse and our Data Marts by designing robust structures, tables, and objects.

Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and governance standards.

Design and build impactful Power BI reports and dashboards (Operational, Strategic & Analytical).

Define and implement best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes to drive efficiency and quality.

Deliver insights that help the business monitor KPIs and make informed, data-driven decisions.

What We’re Looking For (Hard Skills)

Solid understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and Modern DWH architecture.

Public Cloud experience (great understanding of Compute, Storage, Networking, Identity, etc).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.

Professional experience of configuring and running Databricks on any public cloud (Azure is preferred).

Strong experience with ETL processes dealing with big amounts of data.

Strong expertise with SQL Server and performance optimization.

Good knowledge and experience with Fabric and PostgreSQL are strong differentiation points.

Proficiency in developing and tuning Power BI dashboards.

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an Enterprise environment OR 7 years in any industry sector.

At least a secondary school qualification (A-Levels or equivalent).

Fluency in English and Portuguese. Spanish language knowledge is a big plus.
