Senior Data Scientist (Python/Databricks/Time Series)

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist > time series datasets within a Databricks environment.

• Develop a Python library and example notebooks to enable domain experts to efficiently analyze complex datasets
• Build and maintain automated batch processing pipelines to enrich measurement data
• Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with user needs
• Contribute to the design of reusable, high-quality, and production-ready code
• Support data exploration and visualization through notebooks and potential dashboarding solutions
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes to ensure reliability and scalability

• Strong Python development experience (5+ years).
• Solid SQL knowledge for data extraction and manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with time series data analysis.
• Proficiency with Jupyter Notebooks.
• Experience with Git / version control systems.
• Ability to build scalable and maintainable data solutions.

Good To Have Skills:

• Experience with Databricks.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
• Experience with Apache Spark / PySpark.
• Experience building user-facing Python libraries.
• Familiarity with Plotly Dash (for dashboards / UI).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (testing, deployment automation).
• Background or interest in chemistry / chemical engineering / electrochemistry.
• Product mindset (user-centric thinking, feature discussions).

• Exposure to scientific domains (chemistry, electrochemistry, engineering) is a plus.
