Optimiza is looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to lead our data science initiatives and deliver advanced analytical solutions that drive strategic business value. You will be instrumental in shaping data strategies, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to solve complex challenges through innovative data-driven approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of sophisticated machine learning models and analytical solutions.
• Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities where data science can create impactful solutions.
• Oversee the collection, cleaning, and management of large and complex datasets to ensure data quality and relevance.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists, promoting best practices and fostering professional growth.
• Communicate complex analytical concepts and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies, integrating them into projects where applicable.

Requirements:
• degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data science roles, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
• Expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and advanced analytics techniques.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python and R, with deep knowledge of data science libraries and frameworks.
• Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Azure) is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, project management, and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
