We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Quality Engineer who is passionate about building reliable, scalable, and high-performance data platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex and inconsistent data into trusted, high-quality business assets.

You will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity, reliability, governance, and performance across a modern cloud-based data stack, enabling data-driven decision-making at scale within an Agile environment.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Cleanse, standardize, and enhance data quality across operational systems and newly onboarded data sources
• Design, build, monitor, and optimize robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Airflow
• Develop and optimize data models, transformations, and tables within Snowflake
• Build scalable data ingestion workflows across APIs, flat files, and database connectors
• Perform in-depth data profiling to detect anomalies, inconsistencies, and quality gaps, and proactively resolve them
• Ensure data validation, reliability, governance, and performance across all data pipelines
• Leverage modern data integration and quality tools such as Deequ, Great Expectations (GX), Splink, Fivetran, Workato, and Informatica to onboard and validate new data sources
• Implement best practices in coding standards, version control, CI/CD, testing, and operational monitoring
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, analytics, and product teams in a Scrum-based Agile setup

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Quality Engineering roles
• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, Airflow, and Snowflake
• Proven experience building and managing data ingestion pipelines across APIs, flat files, and databases
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT architecture, and performance optimization
• Experience with data integration and data quality tools
• Strong knowledge of data engineering best practices across the development lifecycle (Git, CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews)
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Hands-on experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, stand-ups)
