About the role 

At Tietoevry Care’s Data & AI unit we are reshaping healthcare and social care services by providing our customers with data- driven solutions and cloud data platforms. Our Data & AI team consists of high-end professionals working in data science, data engineering, data modelling, data advisory, cloud solutions, security and software development.

As a (Senior) Data Integration Engineer, you will participate in planning and developing data integrations, the data integration architecture and related tools for the Lifecare Data Platform. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with customers and stakeholders, ensuring that integration solutions are tailored to real-world needs and that you gain direct insight into customer requirements. As a key member of our Data Integrations team, you will play an essential role in these efforts. In your role, you will also participate in our day-to-day operations, supporting our growing customer base in their integration needs, while effectively communicating with other stakeholders and development teams. 

 

To succeed in this role, we would like you to have 

• Strong background in data engineering 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud services, with specific experience in ADLS, ADO, etc. 

• Hands-on experience in developing integrations with Databricks, knowledge of Azure Data Factory is a plus 

• Several years of professional software development experience including CI/CD automation and working in production environments is essential 

• Several years of hands-on experience with large-scale data integrations 

• Proficient knowledge of networking in cloud environments, including networking security aspects 

• Knowledge of programming languages such as Scala and Python 

• A strong understanding of software productization and a focus on building sustainable, maintainable, and reusable solutions 

• Confidence and willingness to take responsibility, honesty and openness as a member of a team 

 

We often work across different locations, sites, and countries, so we expect excellent communication skills and strong communication habits in both Finnish and English.
