Data engineer ensures effective data management and utilisation to enable data-driven decision-making within organization.

Data engineer is highly skilled professional with a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and problem-solving savvy.

Data engineer integrates, transforms, and consolidates data from various structured and unstructured data systems into structures that are suitable for building analytics solutions.

A data engineer may also help design and support data pipelines and data stores that are high-performing, efficient, organized, and reliable, given a specific set of business requirements and constraints.

A data engineer often works with multiple types of data to perform many operations using many scripting or coding languages that are appropriate to their individual organization.

• Experience in data warehousing on cloud platform using modern architecture - MS Fabrics, Pyspark.

• 8+ years of experience

• Strong SQL Server 2019 and above with MSBI-SSIS ETL experience.

• Deep understanding and hands-on experience on Datawarehouse build and Dimensional Modeling

• Works in a team environment, planning and delivering reporting in an Agile/Sprint development environment.

• Performs data analysis, data validation, data mapping/design, and data model development to support reporting, business insights, and deliver guided business analysis.

Develops a deep understanding of specific areas of the business and the key metrics that drive performance.

• Works closely with Power BI developers to develop designs, manage metadata, manage data quality, and build standard calculations and reporting solutions.

• Builds and supports data and user level security across DW data architecture and Power BI datasets.

• Researches, recommends, and leverages new features of Cloud platform capabilities to deliver business insights and analytics.
