Responsibilities
• Understanding and aligning with business needs, identifying related data requirements
• Participating in technical pre-sales activities, including effort estimation, and proposal creation
• Architecting and planning robust data models and modern data platforms.
• Acting as the senior technical lead for the development of cloud data solutions, with a focus on lakehouse architectures
• Planning and leading testing activities
• Leading and mentoring project teams (3-6 members)
Requirements
• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with Databricks/Snowflake/Azure/AWS-based data platforms
• Proficiency in assessing business logic, proposal submission, and time estimation
• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or team lead role, guiding data warehouse/lakehouse migration or development projects
• Project experience from a consultancy background
• Customer-oriented approach
• Strong communication skills and proactivity
• Professional working proficiency in both English and Hungarian (written and spoken)
• Problem-solving skills, creativity
Nice to have
• Hands-on experience with legacy on-premise platforms (Oracle, MSSQL)
• Experience in international projects
