About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Technical Interviewer specializing in Data, AI, and Machine Learning to assess candidates across Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Machine Learning Engineers, AI/GenAI Engineers, MLOps Engineers, Data Scientists, and Computer Vision / NLP Engineers.
You will run structured interviews covering statistics, data modeling, pipelines, ML fundamentals, experimentation, model evaluation, productionization, and responsible AI—while ensuring consistent scoring and a strong candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct technical screens and deep-dives for data/AI roles: SQL, Python, data modeling, ML theory, and applied system design.
• Assess practical skills: feature engineering, evaluation metrics, leakage detection, experiment design, and tradeoff analysis.
• Evaluate production readiness: monitoring, drift detection, CI/CD for ML, deployment patterns.
• Provide clear, rubric-based feedback and participate in calibration and leveling.
• Improve question banks, rubrics, and interview loops for data and AI roles.
Stacks/Areas Covered (as applicable)
• Data Engineering: ETL/ELT, orchestration, warehouses/lakes, SQL, Spark
• ML Engineering / DS: Python, model training, evaluation, feature stores
• AI/GenAI: LLM fundamentals, prompting, RAG concepts, guardrails (high-level)
• MLOps: pipelines, model registry, CI/CD, observability/monitoring
• NLP/CV: embeddings, transformers concepts, vision pipelines (role-dependent)
Requirements:
• 5+ years in Data Engineering, ML Engineering, Data Science, or MLOps (or a blend).
• Strong ability to evaluate SQL, Python, data modeling, and ML fundamentals.
• Experience with production data/ML systems (monitoring, reliability, performance).
• Structured interviewing experience preferred; strong rubric-writing skills.
• English: Fluent
• Arabic: Native
