Job Summary:

The Senior Data & AI Consultant is responsible for the structured identification and analysis of customer requirements in the field of Data, AI & ML. They support the Commercial Team by developing solution proposals that are both technologically sound and business-comprehensible. Additionally, they act as a Trusted Advisor for customers, particularly in the media sector.

Responsibilities:

Requirements Analysis & Presales:

• Participate in initial customer meetings to identify requirements and business objectives.
• Structurally analyze customer briefings to extract key challenges and identify missing information.
• Develop a rebriefing to align the enhanced understanding with the customer.

Solution Development & Architecture:

• Develop solution approaches for Data, AI & ML projects, considering cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Define the necessary infrastructure, data architecture, and machine learning pipelines.
• Create a technical solution proposal, including team composition and estimated implementation timeline.

Customer-Centric Communication & Proposal Support:

• Support the Commercial Team in preparing proposals, including the technical rationale.
• Present solutions in a clear and understandable manner for different stakeholders (both technical & business).
• Clarify technical and commercial questions throughout the proposal process.

Implementation Experience & Media Industry Focus:

• Experience in executing Data, AI, and ML projects, preferably in agile teams.
• Ability to quickly grasp challenges in the media industry and develop industry-specific solutions.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Solid understanding of data architectures, data warehouses, data lakes, and modern cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), data governance, and AI-powered analytics.
•  Knowledge of streaming and real-time data processing (Kafka, Airflow, Kinesis, etc.).
• Programming languages: Python, SQL (Spark or Scala is a plus).
• Experience with AI frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI API, etc.).
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and data security policies.

Soft Skills & Business Acumen:

• German (Native), English (C1)
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex problems into components and derive structured solutions.
• Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and convincing way, even to non-technical stakeholders.
• Structured Work Approach: Experience in methodical requirement analysis and solution development.
• Persuasiveness: Ability to advise customers and enable well-informed decisions.
• Collaboration: Close interaction with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from presales to delivery.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in the media sector or the ability to quickly adapt to media-related challenges.

Preferred Experience & Education:

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Science, or AI/ML consulting.
• Experience in consulting and presales, ideally with direct customer interaction.
• Industry knowledge in media companies or other data-driven industries is a plus.
