Senior D365 Finance & Operations Developer

The Polish branch, as the Global Delivery Center, operates in Katowice since 2007 and has been growing ever since. Currently, our team consists of around 1,000 specialists.

Within the Digital Platform Services department, our teams specialize in areas such as cloud, operating systems, virtualization, databases, backup or storage, as well as networking and security. We also have 1st line support consultants who speak French and English, but also Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and German.

The Application Services department is responsible for areas such as software development, data engineering, testing services, CRM, ITSM and ERP platform integrations, as well as application management for customers in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.

We are looking for D365 Finance & Operations Developer to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that works for Global Swedish company.

The Consultant will be a suitably qualified Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations developer with extensive experience in Dynamics 365 Finance and Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, and preferably also Power Platform and other D365 products built on Power Platform, such as Commerce and Customer Service.

Responsibilities:​ 

This person should be comfortable with being involved in the early phase of solution design and

participate in all stages from idea, sketch, requirements specification, functional design,

estimation, planning, development, leading other developers in best practice and perform code

reviews, testing, documentation and follow-up.

The developer will work with development, deployment, later rollout as well as maintenance, and

needs to be experienced and comfortable of leading development work in product domain groups

and responsible for ensuring that all code built on the FO platform is delivered on time and quality.

The resource should have understanding of coding guidelines, release, expectations for quality, best

practice and documentation. As developer you should be used working with Azure DevOps for

collaboration, follow-up, documentation, build and deploy pipelines and code management, also

preferable GitHub

Must have requirements:​ 

• Strong experience as a D365 Finance & Operations Developer
• Proven development experience within Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management
• Solid understanding of FO coding guidelines and best practices
• Experience with Azure DevOps for collaboration, backlog management, builds and deployments
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong skills in Visual Studio, development and debugging
• Experience in data modelling
• Experience producing and maintaining technical and software documentation
