PRIORITY Quality Consultants is currently recruiting on behalf of a prominent EU Organization based in Brussels for the position of Senior Cyber Security Expert.
The selected candidate will join a high-level international environment in Brussels, Belgium, contributing to the implementation and enhancement of cybersecurity strategies, incident response capabilities, and cyber resilience initiatives aligned with EU frameworks and standards.
The role is offered under a 3-year contract within a hybrid working model, requiring presence on-site 3 days per week and remote work 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support cybersecurity implementation initiatives
• Assess cyber risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation measures
• Support incident response and cyber crisis management activities
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures
• Monitor emerging cyber threats and security trends
• Collaborate with European stakeholders and relevant authorities
• Deliver cybersecurity guidance and awareness initiatives
Requirements:
• Educational background in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 15 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, ideally within the public sector or EU institutions.
• At least one of the following GIAC certifications: GCIH, GCFA, GNFA, GREM
• Strong knowledge of EU cybersecurity regulations, frameworks, and standards (e.g., NIS Directive, GDPR).
• Experience working with EU institutions or international organizations is highly preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of additional EU languages is a strong asset.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and multi-stakeholder environments.
