Join N-iX and become part of a team where your ideas make a real impact.
We are looking for a driven and experienced Senior Customer Engagement Manager to own the full sales lifecycle — from lead qualification through to contract closure — and to serve as the primary relationship owner during the first year of client cooperation. This is a high-accountability, individual contributor role for someone who thrives on owning outcomes, not just activities.
You will be the end-to-end owner of your deals. That means leading and coordinating the presales team, driving the sales strategy, and being personally accountable for converting qualified opportunities into signed agreements — and then ensuring those relationships get off to a strong start.
Key Responsibilities:
Deal Ownership & Sales Execution
• Own the entire sales journey from initial lead qualification through the full sales funnel to contract execution — with full accountability for outcomes at every stage.
• Develop and execute tailored sales strategies for each opportunity, adapting approach to client context, decision-making structure, and competitive dynamics.
• Manage and lead the deal team throughout the presales process, coordinating internal stakeholders (solution architects, delivery leads, legal, finance) to produce compelling, client-specific offerings.
• Drive pipeline management with discipline — evaluate inbound opportunities, prioritize based on strategic fit and revenue potential, and maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM (Salesforce).
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
• Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for prospective clients throughout the sales process.
• Transition seamlessly into an account management role during the first year of cooperation, ensuring client satisfaction, successful project kick-off, and a strong foundation for long-term partnership.
• Represent the company's expertise, delivery capabilities, and portfolio in a compelling and credible manner at all levels of the client organization, including C-suite and senior stakeholders.
Sales Documentation & Presales
• Lead the preparation of high-quality sales documentation and client-facing artifacts including proposals, commercial offers, RFI/RFP responses, tender documentation, and targeted presentations.
• Maintain a structured and accurate repository of presales artifacts to support team efficiency and institutional knowledge.
Revenue & Quota
• Deliver against individual revenue targets and sales quotas with a strong results orientation.
• Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting to sales leadership on a regular basis.
Requirements:
Experience
• Min 5+ years of experience in a client-facing sales or engagement role within the IT outsourcing or nearshore software development industry — as an Engagement Manager, Sales Manager, Solutions Sales Lead, Sales Engineer, Delivery Manager or equivalent.
• Demonstrated track record of owning and closing complex, enterprise-level deals end-to-end.
• Proven experience leading presales teams and coordinating cross-functional internal stakeholders as part of the deal process.
• Experience transitioning from a sales role into an account management capacity post-deal closure.
Knowledge & Skills
• Deep understanding of IT outsourcing and nearshore delivery models, including SDLC, software development methodologies, estimation techniques, engagement/billing models, and PM practices.
• Strong command of the full B2B sales cycle: prospecting, lead qualification, needs analysis, solution presentation, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Excellent analytical skills — able to quickly assess client needs, identify the right solution framing, and adapt sales strategy accordingly.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills; able to craft clear, persuasive sales messaging and present confidently to senior audiences.
• Solid project and risk management skills to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder presales engagements.
• High proficiency with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.
• Strong time management and self-organization; comfortable managing multiple deals at different stages simultaneously.
Education & Language
• M.S. or M.A. degree required.
• Advanced English proficiency required. German or another major European language is a strong advantage.
Other
• Availability for regular business travel.
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset — you define success by results, not effort.
We offer*:
• Flexible working format - remote, office-based or flexible
• A competitive salary and good compensation package
• Personalized career growth
• Professional development tools (mentorship program, tech talks and trainings, centers of excellence, and more)
• Active tech communities with regular knowledge sharing
• Education reimbursement
• Memorable anniversary presents
• Corporate events and team buildings
• Other location-specific benefits
