Funding Societies Vietnam is seeking a mid-to-senior Credit Analyst. The successful candidate will perform risk analysis and assessment tasks for SME credit facilities, including but not limited to financial statements, bank statements, credit reports, asset records, invoices, sales contracts, etc., to support credit decision-makers within specified TAT and ensure the quality of the credit portfolio according to Group Policies.
What you will do:
• Go through all documents from the borrowers and/or Sales Team then give the queries to clear everything
• Analyze the level of risk for lending, request additional information and conduct a physical site visit as necessary
• Prepare underwriting reports with proposals of loan structure, term-conditions and submit to Credit Decision Makers together with the rationale and justifications as well.
• Proactively identify signs of fraud and risk factors to advise credit decision-makers with risk mitigation solutions accordingly.
• Communicate with Relationship manager, other teams and line manager to maintain a case-by-case follow-up for potential clients
• Resolve pre- and post-closing issues as they relate to underwriting matters.
• Proactively propose improvements/comments/Ideas… related to credit processes, products, risk management, etc., as well as applying AI tools and automated processes to daily work
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including but not limited Product, Data, Tech Team, Sales team, OPS Team, Compliance Team… for any projects at country level and Group as well
• Make related reports to support line manager, country director in management activity
• Other tasks assigned by line manager
Requirements:
• Completed Bachelor and/or Master’s degree within Banking, Finance, Accounting or related fields
• Solid understanding of central bank regulations on credit granting, debt classification, and provisioning, as well as Corporate Law, Civil Law, and collateral-related regulations.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in SMEs credit assessment process in banks/FIs or Fintech at the same role.
• Good understanding of SME business models, production cycles, and industry-specific risks across various sectors
• Strong capability to evaluate business models, cash flows, and the financial feasibility of business plans/investment projects to ensure debt repayment capacity.
• Proven ability to deeply analyze and verify the transparency of Financial Statements, Tax Reports, bank statements…
• Proficient with Google Ecosystem, AI tools…
• Good English skills, Problem-solving and Analytical skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural team, and outside of business hours when necessary
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
