KarmaLab is Reddit’s in-house creative strategy team. We partner with brands and internal sales teams to create Reddit-first creative that is culturally fluent, strategically grounded, and built to perform at scale.

As a Senior Creative Strategist, you’ll be responsible for shaping how brands show up on Reddit across Australia. You’ll lead the strategic thinking behind creative ideas, turning platform insight, community behavior, and cultural signals into work that feels native, respectful, and effective. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and sales. You’ll collaborate closely with creative, program management, and sales partners to ensure ideas are not only compelling, but clear, sellable, and executable.

This is a senior role for someone who understands Reddit deeply, thinks strategically, and knows how to turn insight into ideas that brands and communities both care about.

You see strategy as a way to unlock better creative, not slow it down. You’re collaborative, curious, and solutions-minded, and you know how to bridge the gap between what brands want and what Reddit communities will actually engage with.

What you’ll do:

• Lead creative strategy for Reddit-first campaigns across the UK, from brief to pitch to execution.

• Translate client objectives into clear strategic frameworks, narratives, and creative directions rooted in Reddit culture and community insight.

• Mine Reddit communities, conversations, and trends to uncover meaningful insights that inspire strong creative ideas.

• Partner closely with Creative Program Managers and Sales teams to ensure ideas are strategically sound, sellable, and executable.

• Develop compelling pitch materials, presentations, and strategic narratives that clearly articulate the “why” behind the creative.

• Act as a platform expert and strategic consultant for advertisers, agencies, and internal stakeholders.

• Support multiple briefs and workstreams simultaneously, balancing speed with strategic rigor.

Qualifications:

• 5–7+ years of experience in creative strategy, advertising, media, or social.

• Strong understanding of how creative, media, and brand teams work together.

• Proven ability to manage multiple briefs and priorities simultaneously.

• Experience developing strategic narratives, creative frameworks, and pitch materials.

• Proficiency in Google Slides or Keynote; Adobe Creative Suite experience is a bonus, not required.

• Agency or in-house creative strategy experience strongly preferred.
