Senior Cost Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cost Controller to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing cost control processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making across the organization.

• Develop and implement cost control systems and procedures to monitor project expenses and overall financial performance
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including budget vs. actual comparisons and variance analyses
• Collaborate with project managers and department heads to develop accurate cost estimates and budgets for new projects
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose strategies to improve financial efficiency
• Conduct regular financial audits to ensure compliance with company policies and Saudi Arabian financial regulations
• Manage and mentor junior cost control staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Participate in contract negotiations and financial risk assessments for new projects
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast project costs and profitability
• Present financial data and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred
• 7-10 years of experience in cost control or related field, preferably in large-scale projects or the construction industry
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Strong skills in financial modeling, cost analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
• Excellent project management abilities and attention to detail
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian financial regulations and reporting standards
• Familiarity with construction or engineering project costing
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Willingness to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
